| Jackson HOG Hosts IL Iron Butt Couple - A 24-hour marathon motorcycle ride May 9th to the South and back will be a charitable fundraiser benefiting kids with muscular dystrophy. At 8 a.m. May 9, Dave and Gayle Dailey of Paris IL will leave Danville, IL for Jackson, Miss., take a brief stop to share a meal with fellow Harley Owners Group members, then turn around and arrive back home at 8 a.m. May 10. They’ll ride 1,800 miles. Dave will drive, and although she has her own motorcycle, Gayle will ride in a sidecar all the way there and back. “I hope I’m as tough as the kids I’m riding for,” Dave said. They’re collecting sponsorships which they hope to total $8,000 — enough money to send 10 kids with muscular dystrophy to a week-long camp in June |
